Ways to Donate

In addition to donating directly to the JCA by cheque, e-transfer or online, at https://donate.micharity.com/the-jamaican-canadian-association/2768919765/donate?campaign=1, you have several other options.

Employer Campaigns

Did you know that some employers have a matching gift program for their employees? This means that they will match your donation to a charity of your choice. Consider doubling your impact to support the great work the JCA is doing. Contact your Corporate Social Responsibility Office.

United Way of Greater Toronto

Is the United Way of Greater Toronto your charity of choice at work? Did you know you can designate some or all of your United Way workplace campaign donation to JCA? When you sign up for payroll contributions, simply designate the Jamaican Canadian Association under the “other” section.

Monthly Donations

Consider a monthly donation to the JCA – you can set up a recurring donation to the JCA for as little as $20.00 per month. You are also able to direct it to your favourite initiative.

In Memoriam Donations

JCA accepts donations in memory of your loved one. Our online payment form makes this a simple option and you can include a special tribute message.

Bequests

A bequest, or gift by Will, is one of the easiest ways to make a planned gift. Speak to your financial advisor about this option that provides significant tax benefits. We thank you for your continued support of the Jamaican Canadian Association.

Update: Effective immediately, JCA will issue tax receipts only at year end (by February 28 as per standard practice). If you donate online, by cheque or etransfer anytime during the year, you will receive a thank you letter rather than the tax receipt. Thank you.
