You are cordially invited by the Citizenship Initiative Group (CIG) and the Consulate General of Jamaica at Toronto for an information session aimed at encouraging landed immigrants who are in good standing, to apply for Canadian Citizenship.
Hosted by the Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA), presenters will be Consul General Lloyd Wilks and Superintendent Keith Merith, President of the Citizenship Initiative Group.
TOPICS INCLUDE:
- The benefits of Canadian Citizenship, including the dispelling of the notion that you cannot have the privilege of dual citizenship;
- Presentation by Consul General Lloyd Wilks on current matters in Jamaica on behalf of the Jamaican government;
- Informing participants that becoming a Canadian citizen will not compromise the citizenship of those who were born in Commonwealth nations.
