Representation Matters: Black Voices in Municipal Politics
October 8 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Local decisions affect our daily lives, from schools to community programs.
Join us at the Jamaican Canadian Centre for a meet-and-greet and information session about municipal leadership.
Meet Black candidates running for City Council and School Board Trustee, learn about the municipal election process, and talk about important issues for Black communities. Connect with your neighbours, ask questions, and find out how you can get involved.
