Toronto, ON – July 31,2010 We all believe in Jamaica. Jamaicans are proud to be among the first independent nations of the Caribbean, we all continue to believe in our abilities to shine at home and abroad. We all believe in our resilience as people who hold dear the adage “wi lickle but wi talawa”. Jamaicans believe in the significance of our national colours- black, green and gold where…hardships there are, but the land is green and the and the sun shineth! In our 48th year of independence celebrations there is much to believe in and indeed much to be proud of.
Come join us in a celebration of all things Jamaican on August 7th for our Independence Celebration at Jamaican Canadian Association with Guest Speaker The Most Honorable Portia Simpson-Miller, first female Prime Minister for Jamaica. Please see attached flyer for further details.
